American Legion Post [Post Number] Events

Eligibility requirements (e.g., veteran status, service periods)

To be eligible for membership in The American Legion, a person must have served at least one day of active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces during a period of conflict recognized by the American Legion and received an honorable or general discharge or be currently serving honorably. The current eligibility period extends from December 7, 1941, to the present, encompassing World War II and subsequent conflicts.

There are several options to join the Legion.

• Stop by the Post and fill out an application during normal operating hours (see General Info section).

Annual Membership for Post 49 is $45.
